During the 2024 J-Term, Professor Elizabeth Bloom and 11 Hartwick students embarked on an inspiring journey to Rwanda. They served as teaching assistants in the Nyabiehe and Rwinzovu schools, fulfilling a crucial requirement for education students to gain hands-on experience. This trip allowed Hartwick students to collaborate with Rwandan teachers, applying student-centered pedagogy in a new cultural context.
