Natalia (Tasha) Tower serves as Director of Partnerships at Move Up Global. She is an educator with extensive experience and interest in using group dynamics and systems improvement to strengthen communities. A native of the Washington, DC area, she did her undergrad and Masters in Teaching at Boston University. Between those degrees, she worked in the nonprofit world for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee and then the Boston Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in 2003. Her teaching experience in middle school English occurred in 4 states while raising two children and watching her husband navigate medical school and training.

The ability to see the systems of the education and medical fields concurrently illuminated the similar strengths and growth opportunities in these two fields. As the Covid pandemic changed the globe, the opportunity to create change in a community of desperate need drew her away from teaching in the classroom to volunteer as the Project Manager for Move Up Global, hoping to use her perspectives on health and education to transform the future of Rwanda and beyond.
